You know sometimes I just can’t stop buying stuff, i love it. Alot of the stuff i buy I later find to be disappointing. Also, a lot of my stuff is geek rubbish, which I’m beginning to realize can be total rip offs. I’m sure you know what I mean. It all sounds great when surfing and reading about it on the millions of product review sites. All these products that can even wipe your arse, but which turn out to be either just plain crappy or, like some software, stuff that’s restricted, indistinct and just can’t get the job done. Another thing I want to stress in this blog, when handling software, is the terms and agreements. Yes that crap. The pages and pages of legal unreadable boring shit, which nearly all of us give up on and press that “yes, I agree” button without understanding a word of what we agreed to. I’m talking about stuff like agreeing to allow a company to sell your personal information to companies in Eastern Europe. Or buying a product online (e.g. software), choosing the downloadable version because its slightly cheaper, and not the “send a disc in the post version” and then finding out three months later that (without any warning) the features from your product have been changed through the update service. And because you got the downloadable version you are unable to reinstall the features you originally chose and paid for. My advice on that is be patient, don’t jump at a downloadable software product, wait and order the real product on a disc, even when it costs more, that way you can always reinstall.

Also in this blog will be naming the names of the product and the company that produces it. But I shall also be mentioning the third party companies that you might have to use in order to use your product (that’s another hidden part in the terms and agreements). By which I mean if, for example, let’s say you buy a mobile phone from one company and, to be able to open the photos you took on it, you have to download software from another company. A company with completely different terms and agreements, that’s maybe not very trust worthy. I am not going to restrict myself to stuff that costs money, but also free software because, in the end, do you really think companies are spending hours and hours and huge amounts of money, making and programming software, just to give it away free, for your benefit. No I’m sorry they are not; if you think they are you are naïve. There’s a darker side to it all, and I’m going to be digging into that as well.

And of course when a product seems to be just what it says, an uncomplicated down to earth product, I’ll be writing about that too.

If you have experiences with products that you are angry about - or really happy about, please contact me and send me a description of your troubles and I will try to research and write about it as well.

I’m going to be doing extensive research into the products I mention here, so writing and adding the reviews will go slowly. Also ill be writing a full description of my experiences with the products as well as any other important information I can find. I will try to balance out the reviews, with positive and negative points on each product.

The reviews for each product will be divided into different chapters; Personal experiences, and general and technical information on the product, photos and so on. Most photos I will get off the internet.

Also I am independent; I am not paid by or hired by any company to write a review

This blog is based on my own views and experiances with certain software and hardware, and the reasearch i make into the subject on the internet.
